I placed an order with PlusNet for their fibre package as I am moving away from SKY & PlusNet offered a great bundle. I haven't received my router yet (Don't know why, as the order was placed on the 29/12/2016. I received a email & text stating my fibre was ready to go on the 16/01/2017. Still no router has turned up, I am trying to connect with my old TP-Link TD-W8951ND Router but there is no ADSL light showing on the router, does any one know what the settings should be for using this router, PlusNet are in the router setting as a provider, but it will not connect.

Hi,
The reason this won't work is because the router you are using in an ADSL modem/router and you will need a VDSL modem/router to use the new fibre connection. Someone from Plusnet should be along soon to chase what's going on with your router.

you can check your tickets to see if a router has been dispatched too.

It says it's been dispatched, would have been nice to have it before SKY turned my broadband off though.

usually they are despatched a few working days before your live date.
