No internet connection - Help!

Hi,
Broadband has been working fine for ages, but since this afternoon it’s just completely cut out. I have the flashing red ‘b’ on my router.
I have tried powering down and unplugging from the mains, restarting using the button on top of the router and resetting using the small hole on the back of the router but nothing seems to be helping.
I have been a customer for the last 2 or 3 years so thinking maybe the router has just ran out of steam?
I am desperate for the internet for work so please help ASAP!

Any mods that can help with this? Raised a ticket a couple days ago and still no answer and still no internet.

Sorry @Seapadders but the Moderators on this forum are just customers volunteering their time and have no access to Plusnet systems.
Having said that, do you have a telephone (preferably corded) to see if you have a dial tone.
If not then report a fault with whoever you pay your phone call bill too.
