Need help, internet has been poor for a long time even though plusnet claim there is no fault with the line. Have a steady blue light on the hub but no working connection on any devices, the hub is making a constant noise like the sound of a hardrive running, could this be linked?

I guess the good news is that you have got into the router and are starting to look at the information it can provide. The router logs also have a filter available, so rather than post everything, select the WAN filter and post that.

If you could also post a copy of the Helpdesk Tab, making sure you hide any sensitive information such as your username, that may also allow people to help.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I've had a look into your connection today and we can definitely see that the connection has been dropping out over the last couple of days, but when I've tested your line, there doesn't appear to be any particular cause for the issue.

As this is the case I would recommend running through our troubleshooting guide, which can be found here, and also plugging your router into the test socket, a guide for which can be found here. If this doesn't resolve the problem just let us know and we can investigate further from there.

Since you moved your router to the test socket, your connection looks to have been stable.

Our tests are showing your router in sync at 38mbps which is a good speed for your line.

I have been running through the test socket and things have seemed better but the last couple of days the internet has been very poor.  Can you see how things are looking? I did have a response saying I would need to have an engineer visit but I cant now find it!
