No Connection after loss of power

This afternoon I was swapping a socket in my kitchen, I isolated power to the downstairs sockets which resulted in my Hub being switched off.
When I switched the power back on the hub power light continually flashed orange with none of the other lights illuminated.
I tried a factory reset which didn’t work. I the spoke to an advisor on the phone who ran tests on the line and talked me through ensuring that the username and password were correct following the factory reset.
This kept being interrupted by a screen saying connecting ppp (or something similar).
The advisor that I spoke to has arranged for a new router to be posted out.
Is there anything else that I can be trying in the meantime?
Thanks

Hi @DomAllgood, thanks for your post.
You'd usually need to ensure you've clicked disconnect before it'll actually allow you to edit those details.
As there's a new router on its way anyway, this is probably a moot point, but I've included the step by step guide on how to correctly change those details below:
1) To connect to your Hub One, you will need to open a browser and go to http://192.168.1.254
If you have any issues doing this via Wireless, we recommend trying to do it via Ethernet cable instead.
2) You should come to a page with information about your connection, click 'Settings' at the top and it will ask you to sign in with a Password. This is located on the back of your router under 'Admin Password'
3) Select the option for 'Broadband.'
4) You will see some default options, if not, please press 'Disconnect' on the right and this will allow you to change the Username and Password.
5) For your username, this should be your account username and should be in the following format: username@plusdsl.net
Your password is your account password
6) Press 'Connect' and you should be online.
Let us know how it goes.
