Hope someone can help, I have been a customer of plusnet for 3 weeks. With everything this is going on in the world, I like many of us are now working from home and I have been experiencing slow speeds and issues with video and voice calls.
I have tried various speed test and I seem to be getting between 8-16mbps download and 6-10mbps upload speeds.
I have tried using different wifi channels and even turned off 5 GHz Wireless to see if this would help.
I see the following in the 'your broadband service' section:
Your broadband service
- Product: Unlimited Fibre
- Estimated Download Range: 38 - 40Mbps
- Estimated Upload Range: 8 - 10Mbps
- Minimum Guaranteed Speed: 30.9Mbps
- Current Line Speed (Download): 36.4Mbps
Unfortunately, I can't connect using an ethernet cable as I don't have those ports on my laptop.
I have even run the wireless diagnostics program on my Mac but wasn't sure what I was looking at when I got the results.
On the same line when I was with Sky I would get 30-35Mbps.
