Hello just wondered if this is a router or password problem or me........
I bought a tplink ac1750 at the weekend I have configured it as per the manufacturer instructions with my username and password but cannot connect
So my question is when I log into my connections setting I have an 8 asterisks password which is also on my technicolor router
my login to my plus net web account is a 16 character password this is throwing me as I have tried the. 16 character password In the router which the help pages tells me to
Am I doing something wrong?
Or do I need my access password for connecting from plusnet

If you are referring to the username and password in the router's DSL configuration, then that will need the same credentials that you use when you log in to the PN web site.

You will need the following login information to Connect
DSL Username: "yourplusnetusername"@plusdsl.net
DSL Password: the password you would use to login to the member centre

Thanks for your replys
Here's the rub I have triple checked my password for plusnet website both on my Mac in key finder and via website
Input as stated but still no connection
I have turned off the openreach modem switched it on waited a couple of minutes switched on the tp still no luck
So keep having to go back to plus nets modem
Oh and I did a factory reset on the new modem
Sorry it's a late post but I do work for a living
Regards
