New member! Speed test

Hi there.

I'm new to Plusnet and have just recently joined.  So far the customer service I've received has been brilliant!  I have however come into a wee problem.



Lately, my speed seems to be really slow and I wasn't sure if it was me or my machine, so I logged on and ran a speed test on your site.


Phone exchange:NEW MILTONEstimated line speed:55Mb (This may vary between 40Mb and 55Mb) - Checked on 2016-11-21 12:54:02Current line speed:22 Mb


22MB seems really slow, is there anyone that can help me out?

Sorry to here about your poor speed could you please raise a speed fault for this you can do this online at someone should then pick this up for you next week

HI Sorry to hear of the issues with your speed.


Can you confirm the speed test was carried out over Ethernet? 


If you have already raised a fault can you complete speed testing at 

If the test fails be sure to complete the further diagnostics so the results are uploaded to the server and if possible complete the 2nd stage of testing (Tap3 test). This is very helpful for those of us working on faults as we can see those results.
