New install, but BT engineer says there is aline fault?

Hi, had a new fibre install on Tuesday but the BT guy said there was a line fault, can you tell me if this was reported back and when it will be fixed as this is reducing my speed...

I have ran a test and I have found a fault on your line. The fault is a battery contact fault (Noise on the line)
We can resolve this remotely, an engineer visit is not required.
The estimated resolution date is the 04/02/2015
I will be personally back in touch to let you know when it has been resolved!

Hi
By the time Plusnet support got to resolving last time the line noise had gone.
Line is very very noisy again , speeds are poor , can this be looked into again as not happy with this.

It seems Josh has been keeping an eye on this for you.
The good news is that I've found a battery contact fault for you. I've raised it, and hopefully this will be resolved without the need for an engineer visit. I've not got a estimated resolution time just yet, but Josh will update the ticket if he's in. If not, please post here and we'll chase it for you.
