New fibre connection speed dropping daily

I was connected to FTTC on Monday, initially 66Mb down 16Mb upstream, now we're down to 56/12 Mbit/sec.

I can see that the SNR has gone up from 6Db up & down stream to 12Db up stream & 8Db downstream, also lots of errors on the downstream.

Can you alter the profile of my line to improve this, or are the errors a sign of how "impacted" my line is?

It's not possible for us to adjust profiles on FTTC I'm afraid.

Our tests are showing a external issue so we'll get that raised for you.

Well I'm impressed, 2 Openreach engineers arrived this afternoon & sorted the internal wiring problem slowing my connection & installed a new master socket!

Now have 70Mbit download & 18.5Mbit upload, thank you!
