New fibre broadband won’t connect

Hi there,

I hope this is okay to post and doesn’t seem overly impatient but I haven’t received any further info from plusnet and can’t get through to customer service on the phone so I’m having to rely on what i was told by openreach. I‘ve recently moved house and had an appointment to set up my new broadband connection today and before the guy from open reach left he said that the light on the router should turn blue within 10 minutes and then I should have internet. He did a line check just before he left and said everything was fine. That was a few of hours ago and it’s still not working (light is red). When I restart the router it briefly turns blue but then changes back to red. I don’t have great phone signal in the flat and have almost used up my data so I could really do with having WiFi...

Any help much appreciated!

Im having exactly the same issue, my start date was 11/07 And I’ve contacted them numerous times a day since and on hold for 10 minutes every time and no one answering.
