New customer, and I'm shocked......

So I recently transferred over to Plusnet because I had heard so many good reviews about them.
So I purchase the top fibre optic package paying £40+ per month for something no where near close to what I'm suppose to be having.
Here is my speed test.
<a href="http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4910563202"><img src="http://www.speedtest.net/result/4910563202.png"></a>
I really think plusnet net to get there stuff sorted since this is what they estimated for me....
Estimated line speed:
80Mb (This may vary between 66Mb and 80Mb) - Checked on 2015-11-13 09:44:37
Current line speed:
64.8 Mb

You too Sad
I've been with Plusnet 3 days now and its utterly horrendous, my connection is very VERY erattic, I cannot even browse at times and my download speed has been as low as 0.2 mbps instead of the 40mbps I'm paying for.
Very VERY bad first impression and I'm now seriously regretting leaving my last ISP, it might have been expensive but it worked!

Re: New customer, and I'm shocked......

Come on guys.. give them a chance...
I've been with them for moons. Like you I wasn't happy at first.. and they had their fair share of problems back then but they have got a lot better over the years and they do normally get things sorted out.
Yes you've got unlucky... but that happens to everyone at some point in life. I doubt anyone will pick up this thread on the weekend but they'll see it on monday. If you cant wait until then, i'd be on the phone.
Meanwhile if you have a phone with 4g and a hotspot....  Wink
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

As 7up says, give it time.
I have been with Plusnet for getting on 2 years now and wouldn't change.
Speeds as advertised and rock steady connection.

That ping concerns me. Are you wired/wireless?

I've just tested your line and can't spot anything obvious, the BT Speedtest you performed shows a speed of 35Mb/s too - if the speeds are erratic and drop lower can you run a BT Speedtest when it's low?

Will do, have to say "touchwood" its been a lot better today, I swapped routers last night and since then it "seems" to be behaving itself a lot more, early days though.
Thanks for checking, I'll report back in a day or so and see how it goes.
