New User - Plusnet Orange Light on Router

Having Switched over from Sky to Plusnet on the 25 Oct, I have had no internet access since.  The light on my router state orange with a orange broadband symbol.  An engineer ( BT open reach ) has checked the line and was OK and deemed the Router at fault.  A new router came and still same problem.  


I have an Old router ( DLINK GT604T ) and trying to connect cia the DSL setup user and password manually using my user name and password but this also failed.  


Looking at the website the Orange B connection  states that there is connection but a problem with setup.  How can this be checked again.  I have reset my router a number of times.

Having taken 3 months to Jump ship from Sky and am now regretting this and I am using next doors SKY connection to type this message.
