New Plusnet Customer - Woeful Speed!

New Customer today - engineer has been and connected up, took a while to get connected for some reason but his line test/txt message came back saying line supports 80m/20mb
Upload is nicely sat at about 18-19mb which is great. Download is stuck at about 12mb which has now stablised....
Should I be worried, or does it really take 5 days for the line to become stable - the box is literally at the end of the street - 200m max!
Any ideas?

If the engineer tested and could see 80/20 then I'd expect you to be getting close to the full speed on your Up to 38Mb product.

Having tested the line I can't see any issues at all. You won't see the line stats in the router on a fibre connection.
Downstream Speed 80.0 Mbps
Upstream Speed 20.0 Mbps
Profile Name 0.128M-80M Downstream, Error Protection Off - 0.128M-20M Upstream, Error Protection Off
Can you ensure you're testing via an ethernet cable?
