Hi,
I have invested in a new Bipac 8800AXL and installed it yesterday on my FTTC connection.
Doddle to set up and I recommend it but that is not the purpose of my post.
Because the OR modem was locked down it was impossible to find the sync speed but with the new setup I can see that I am synced at 23791/3609.
Running a BTwholesale test I have a profile of 1742/10.
According to most sites I have consulted I should get around 23023 on my line.
The sync has held steady for 24 hours so will the profile adjust in time or does it need a kick from Plusnet?

The BT profile should always match your sync (less around 3%), if you get a very quick resync (without a drop in PPP session) it can 'miss the event' and not update, disconnecting and reconnecting the PPP session should kick the update to the BT profile - the Plusnet profile updates a while later (usually).
