you might want to remove the link that has your phone number?

Hi RTNI,

Thank you for your concern. However, we don't ever intend to connect a phone to the line, so not too concerned.

Best wishes,

Jonathan

Re: New Fibre Broadband Customer - Estimated 25-35MB/s, Getting 8MB/s

Hi welcome to the forum, I'm not sure when your date for fibre was due as you didn't say but your not on it your still on ADSL2 as stated by the stats  23 - Modulation G.993.2 Annex B

I'm afraid it looks like another case of email saying one thing actuality quite another and plusnet in their typical fashion not making it clear or notifying the customer that the date is either not what was stated in the email or something has gone wrong.

either way you would need to either contact support to find out why your not on fibre, hopefully you will get someone that can read stats and not tell you to wait 10 days or wait for one of the Plusnet forum care team to see this and look into it for you.

Modulation G.993.2 Annex B is VDSL2 so I think you've got It wrong there.Wink

Yep my bad super tired missed that it was G.993 which is fibre G.992 is ADSL2,  still 8Mb is off the mark so needs reporting and looking at.

Re: New Fibre Broadband Customer - Estimated 25-35MB/s, Getting 8MB/s

It looks like an engineer went out yesterday and we're advised a problem has been rectified.

As your sync speed remains below your estimates, it's likely we'll need to arrange an engineer visit.

Can you run through the checks here first though?

Hi Gandalf,

I've been running the router off of the test socket for the last few days. Unfortunately, no improvement.

Thanks,

Jonathan
