New Fiber Customer - Performance Disappointing

Having taken the plunge and moved from BT ADSL to Plusnet Unlimited Fibre, I have to say the difference is not spectacular. I'm finding both E-mail & Browser page refreashes very "laggy".
With BT I was getting download 4mbps, upload 0.4mbps, 36ms Latency with PN I'm getting  download 36mbps, upload 1.84mbps, 36ms (using BT Speedtest.).
I worked for many years on WAN comms so I realise that it's the capacity that's increased not necessarily the speed.
The installation was carried out on 27/11/15 so I waited before posting but have been interested in the numerous debates on PN & BT Forum about performance.
The Cabinet in the village is a Huawei , I've seen various debates about "modems" not being compatible with G.INP which is being rolled out to Huawei cabinets.
I've got the PN Hub One installed as you can see from the details below is this compatible with the Huawei cabinet.
Does PN use any Packet Shaping to prioritise traffic?
Any suggestions and ideas are wlecome as I'm now locked in to PN for 18 month.

Re: New Fiber Customer - Performance Disappointing

Been live now for 20 days speedtest are the same as above.
E-mail issue is probably down to Thunderbird, having deleted loads of mail and compacted the folders it's not so much of a problem.
My overall experience is that downloads and uploads are quicker due to increased capacity.
Refreshing pages in the browser there's no noticable change only with very busy pages with loads of content.
One thing I didn't notice or take on board is that PN have capped the upload capacity to 2 mbps.
Talking to people in my village I realise there is a misconception about what they are getting when they upgrade to Fibre to the Cabinet.
What they will get is a capacity increase not a speed increase, therefore large amounts of data will be delivered in shorter amount of time when compared to ADSL.
To most people this becomes apparent when using BBC Iplayer because they no longer get pauses when the app is waiting for the data to get through.
