New FTTC speed same as old ADSL

Hello,
I've just had FTTC installed but when I do a speed check it is the same speed as my old connection (5Mb/s)  Cry
Is this a profile issue as I should be getting 40Mb down?
Thanks

Probably - hopefully someone on DCT will be along shortly to fix it for you. Alternatively if you can put up with the on hold wait, the phone support should be able to do the same.

Hi jamiethompson,
I've corrected the speed profile on your account.
You might just need to <a href="https://www.plus.net/home-broadband/router-reconnect/">reboot</a> for that to take effect.
