Currently on f9/PN broadband, waiting for FTTC upgrade.
Original date passed without upgrade, when I checked questions/notifications there was a new date set. (So not pleased that I wasn't told directly) This new date is in the middle of my holiday week. So there will be no-one to take delivery of router if it's delivered very close to that date - if it's Royal Mail that's taken care of - but if it's courier then I guess they will retain it for re-delivery. Also will there be a problem if the ‘new’ connection doesn't see any internet traffic for 5 or 6 days ie the ‘training’ and consequent line speed might be affected?
I've added a response to the online 'question' but not sure when it will be picked up.
I believe the router should fit through your letterbox , also there is no training for FTTC it should find its best after a day , it wont make a difference what day you chose
