New FTTC Install - Only 20meg?

We're in the process of moving to a new house which we had Plusnet FTTC installed in a couple of weeks ago, we're on the 40meg package but at the moment, or speeds are around 20meg - they started off at 27 (which was still under the expected speeds) and have since dropped to 20meg. It's been a long time since I've been on a copper product having moved from a Virgin Media area but I know there are lots of factors that affect copper-based lines, but this does seem really low.
Is there anything you do to improve things from your end?

I've run a few tests and I can't see any issues.
Your estimate is 22mbps although you are currently syncing at around 27mbps so you should be getting close to that.
What results do you get when you run a speedtest using the link below?
