New Customer no internet

Is it just me that's having issues being connected to fibre? I was supposed to be connected on 13th Feb but all I am told is their is a fault and given 48hrs until it is fixed every time I speak with them. To which I have just received a text stating rather than tell me they will update me on Monday, They will contact me when the issue is resolved.
As a new customer who has paid for a service I am not receiving and due to pay again in 3 days I am struggling to understand how this is acceptable? I have called them every 2 days because nobody calls me, it takes an hour to even get through.
Anyone think it is worth just not bothering anymore and getting a different provider?
