New 3 year contract and now the problems start.

I've been getting 13-14 M constantly for the last 2 years. and now I'm getting 1M on fibre! seriously?

Have you changed my router settings again without notification?

I was promised by the person that called me that there would be no changes to my speed other than a cheaper price.

It takes 2 minutes to log into my bank account, youtube videos keep buffering all since the new contract.

Re: New 3 year contract and now the problems start.

Our tests have found a fault on the line which is most likely why the speeds have dropped.

We've raised this to our suppliers and we'll get this fixed as soon as we can.

Re: New 3 year contract and now the problems start.

Also another thing I just found out tonight. Non of my family can call me on the landline and I cannot phone out myself. A good job I have a mobile phone in case of emergency!

Please sort this out asap.

Re: New 3 year contract and now the problems start.

An engineer came Saturday and told my son that it will take a few days to fix my line. What's the latest because it still isn't working and I still cannot receive or make phone calls.

A underground trained engineer needs to go out to fix the fault.

We should have a further update by the end of today.

Re: New 3 year contract and now the problems start.

According to my texts an engineer has been and the result is

http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5385860865

Still [-Censored-]. If I can't get the 13-15 Meg I've had for the last 2 years then I'm sorry I'm not putting up with 1.5M and staying for another 3 years.

If you reboot the router the speeds should pick up.

Re: New 3 year contract and now the problems start.

Already have and still the same result.

[Edit]

Router was red hot on a cool windowsill. I turned it off while I had a shower and now my speed has gone up to 12M. Still less than I've been getting. Maybe my router is also starting to play up.
