We are being upgraded to fibre this coming Monday morning, although we have yet to receive the modem.
I also understand that we are going to receive the older modem.
I'm currently running broadband via a Netgear AC1200 D6100 router.
This has a dedicated fibre (red) socket.
I would like to utilise this router in place of the Plusnet model.
Can I simply unplug the red lead from the Plusnet and plug into the Netgear?
If so would anyone advise on what order, if any I need to power down, the BT Open Reach Box, Plusnet, and Netgear.
