I've got my new TV and run ethernet to it and now get UltraHD OK. I was scratching my head as to why I couldn't get any 3D from Netflix whereas it works fine on SKY.
I've now done a bit of reading and as far as I can see, the reason is that PlusNet aren't one of the "Netflix Open Connect" partners so is that correct and is it likely to change in the near future?

Hi
I don't think netflix uk have any 3d content.
If ultra hd works then I world expect enough bandwidth for 3d hd but I don't think uk netflix has any content.

Just had an online chat with them and you are quite right. They tried to infer that it was the studios, distributors etc. at fault as they weren't "giving Netflix the rights" - my reply to that was that I wasn't aware that rights to online streaming were ever "Given" but rather had to be purchased so surely it was down to Netflix. Anyway it's a moot point for now ho hum....

I have UHD Tv set and what I heard was Netflix would be making UHD material available in the future.

It's available now if you've got a premium Netflix account and you have >25Mbps (I think it is - I get a fairly steady 35-37Mbps whenever I test it).
I was talking specifically about 3D content streaming rather than Ultra HD.

Yes I did appreciate you are after 3D.
Personally I think when I am able to get UHD it will be impressive and more comfortable to watch.
