Need some info

Sorry if wrong place, but I've been trying to find some info about fibre rollout in my area.
On SamKnows the FTTC status is RFS date set : 30/09/2014 and on openreach website it says CS (Nov, 2014) however BTs broadband checker is only showing ADSL is that normal? and am I expecting too much by thinking I should have fibre sometime soon?  Tongue

Re: Need some info

It sounds like it should be available for you soon.
What result do you get form the BT checker https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/adsl.htm? If it gives your cabinet number when you enter your phone number then you're probably only a few months away from being able to order FTTC.

Look at all the pretty graphs! (now with uptime logging!)

Re: Need some info

Is there any information on http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when ?
There is often news on this site, especially if you dig in to look at information surrounding your area as seen here: http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/rural-broadband/

Re: Need some info

Hi Zillawill,
It sounds like things are heading in the right direction.
The dates shown can be a little confusing but I'd keep checking every few weeks.
