NTP Pool

Does anyone else contribute to the NTP pool on Plusnet FTTC? I'm pretty sure this is a Plusnet QoS thing; I have a CentOS box sat on the end of my connection which continues to be sluggish to almost any inbound request - SMTP, HTTP, DNS and NTP queries. Some simple monitoring confirms 0% packet loss on the line so I'm confident the connection is stable. Some external NTP monitoring itself confirms sluggish responses (probably timing out):

I'm just wondering whether anybody else does a similar thing, and what your experiences are?

Hi Colin,
I've been in the NTP pool on Plusnet FTTC for a while, I've tried a few computer systems on my end but I see the same problem with sluggish responses from the monitoring.

I too have ruled out packet loss, I've not got totrying changing the router yet (Netgear FVS318G) but I'm suspicious of something on the Plusnet network side of things. It's interesting to see you've had the same results.
Can anyone from Plusnet shed some light on this?
