My fibre broadband is too slow

Dear Plusnet,

I have just upgrade to fibre broadband.  I have received a new router which I have installed, and it is running.  The speed is very slightly faster than the old system, now about 8.6 Mbps download, and dropped to 0.34 Mbps upload.  This is nowhere near the speed I was expecting of 35-40 Mbps.

Can you please look into this for me?

Most likely you have not yet been upgraded. If you post a copy of the Help Desk tab from your router that could be confirmed.

Thanks Mustrum.  I've now managed to open a support ticket, so let's see how that goes in the next day or two.
