My Mate's upgrade to Fibre question

My mate who I recommended to Plusnet, put in an order on 12th July 2017, to upgrade to
Fibre.
He was informed, it would take 10 working days to complete his upgrade.
He received his modem router on 14th July.
He had an email stating his first Fibre direct debit payment would be taken from his account
on 26th July 2017. (No funds have been taken from his account at time of posting)
He has not received an email about his go live Fibre upgrade date.
Any idea when he will be upgraded please.

Do you have a means for us to locate your friends account?

Hi,
thanks for quick response, I forgot to ask him for his account details.
he is at work atm and he cannot remember his username etc.
He has had two emails earlier (5am) today. 1. its cancelled, 2. its on?
.
I have to wait until he gets home from work to determine exactly what is happening.

Hi all,
thanks for all the input, much appreciated.
my mate is now on fibre and a very happy with the increased speed.
It seems his first email was standard broadband cancelled (off), second email, Fibre broadband on.

Ordered mine on the 9th of July. Still waiting to be connected. Got an email saying I might be connected on the 14th of August. I wonder if they can connect.
Feeling angry.

I can see this was due to your previous provider having the wrong post code for your number.
This has been sorted now and your orders should complete properly this time.
