Re: Moving back to PN from BT

Welcome back @jockwav.

From the looks of things, it may be down to the market 1 pricing (Assuming you're at the same property as you were when you were previously with us) Sad

Re: Moving back to PN from BT

Hi to avoid the market 1 pricing  you could try:

john lewis broadband (provided by PN) £32.50 pm

Or

Origin broadband (Sone times use PN as a supplier) £24.99 pm

Or

Vodafone £28 pm

Or

Talktalk/ sky as most fibre cabs are connected to bigger exchanges often not the nearest market 1 exchange.

As such the llu providers can be available for fibre even if not for standard BB!

Re: Moving back to PN from BT

I hope PN offered you an improved price as most fibre cabs are not fed from market A exchanges.

They are connected to larger market B exchanges.

As such it is not clear whether there really is a market A for fibre broadband...

@RichardB, While that may be correct, I'm afraid it doesn't change our prices in a Market 1 area Undecided

Re: Moving back to PN from BT

Well so far i am a bit dissapointed as to how my order has gone wrong from the first conversation with one of the online plusnet team.

Obviously he did not listen to what i actually said about moving my BB,hope it works out ok.

Re: Moving back to PN from BT

Hi there, first of all a warm welcome back.

I am sorry to see how your order was handled by our support team.

It looks like instead of placing a simultaneous transfer, an order to takeover your fibre was placed and notes left on your account to place the phone order once that completed.

I have passed internal feedback to the adviser in question in regards to that.

I have placed a cancellation request on the fibre order. Once that completes within 24 hours we will place the simultaneous transfer, retaining your existing phone number.

I'm moving the ticket on your account to my team's ticket pool so that we can take personal ownership of this to help ensure no more mistakes are made.

Once again, many apologies for any frustration caused.

Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Sorry about that, I didn't expect us to receive notification from our suppliers so soon.

I'll get the required-by date changed on the order for you.
