Fibre fitted a few days ago, the main phone socket is in the hallway so asked for it to be fitted there unfortunately it looks a mess with extention cables and wires all over the place, entirly my own fault.
Anyway I have no problem in moving it but this means unplugging it and I recall In one recent post a long debate with various views expressed on the time it should remain unplugged, I have no wish to start that debate again but simply to inform anyone else who intends to disconnect the fibre router and modem that I contacted PN for advice and was informed by their technical department it should be disconnected for at least one hour.
