Mobile apps hang on Wifi but not on 3G/4G

Hi all,

New Plusnet user here. Since my service has begun, I’ve noticed certain apps, mainly social media, Facebook, Insta, Twitter are refusing to load comments etc when I’m using the Wifi. Yet when I switch it off and revert to the mobile signal, they load immediately. Laptop is fine, just the mobile.

I’m using an iPhone 8 Plus. My partner experiences the same on her SE2.

Any advice?

Try separating the 2.4 and 5GHz bands, see. https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/2-4ghz-and-or-5ghz-best-practice/m-p/1351966#M840

Try each band by selecting it in your device wireless network settings and use the best.
