I was scheduled to be upgraded to FTTC today, and at at about 09:00 received a pushed firmware update to my new Plusnet Hub One. As the announcement told me that all user settings would be lost, and offered no opportunity to back them up first, I rejected the firmware upgrade, shortly after which I was disconnected from ADSL2+, reconnected to FTTC, and all seems well. However, presumably the firmware upgrade was pushed for a good reason, so is it possible to know if it will automatically be pushed again in the near future (I have now backed up my hub settings), and if not, how can I find out what issues the upgrade was intended to address ?
