McCafee Virus Prorection

Just recently joined PlusNet with a fibre package and opted for McCafee protection.

However I cant seem to download McCafee. Every time I try I have an Error box appear saying:

An ERROR has Occurred.

You can't change your products for the moment, you already have a product change in progress.

We are now on our second bill and still no further forward.

Can Someone please Help.

Hi @June2245, I've looked into this for you and sent an email with some further information.

I have waited a few days before logging back in.

Just logged in to find the same Yellow Box error message.

I have also tried to log into add-on's to add McCafee and again can see a yellow error message.

There is a offer to have static IP-address with an add this bolt on option.

There is a offer to have Pro Add On with again an add this bolt on option.

However on the McCafee offer has no add this bolt on option to select.

Can you please assist further

I'm sorry for the issues with downloading Plusnet Protect powered by McAfee. I've looked into this for you and I've added a reply to the support ticket that Will has raised you can view and respond to by going Here. In summary there was an issue with your account we're in the process of rectifying and I'll follow things up with you as soon as that's been sorted.

When logged into Add On the McCafee was unavailable to d/l still but was able to remove.

I removed and reapplied the add on and was informed to go to McCafee d/l.

However this shows as unavailable at present.

My I.S.P. provides McAfee under their brand. I had issues, not disimilar.

Fortunately I could use live chat (PN!) and allowed the c.s. rep to access the affected p.c.. He sorted out the problem within 5 minutes. Yes, it was my I.S.P., not "Microsoft Support"!

It's a shame PN don't offer an equivalent rather than toing and froing through this forum.
