I have 80/20 FTTC and up until about a month ago was getting ~72Mbps / ~16Mbps. Since the 19th I have had ~25 modem disconnections/resyncs and am currently connected synced at 25Mbps / 12 Mbps. I have tried:
- new ethernet cable between modem and router
- Plusnets router instead of my own
- a direct PPPoE connection from my PC
- a second Huawei modem
- an ECI modem
The first engineer replaced some cabling in the cabinet, the second one moved ports and said I should be getting at least 65Mbps. Is there anything else I can try? Or is it time to give up and leave given that I'm unable to get anywhere near this again:
