Many Disconnections since Tuesday

Hi there,

 

Since Monday, my connection has been dropping and the speed has dropped.  You can see from the images, that the connection slowed down around two weeks ago, but, sine Tuesday, it's been all over the place.

Nothing has changed at my end, so can someone take a look please?

Sorry to hear you're having issues.

I've just tested your line and it's found a external issue.

I've raised that for you and we'll get you a update as soon as we know more.

Hi Matthew,

 

BT came out yesterday to take a look.  The guy came back today and replace the line from the pole to the property, as that was what he suspected was the issue.

 

The line has been more stable since:-

However,  the line is now syncing at 54997 instead of the 79997 that it used to do a couple of weeks ago.  Is this something that needs to be reset.  My router says this:-

Unfortunately we can't remotely reset fibre lines.

That can only be done by a engineer.

Great!  When will it be reset then...

 

A 30% reduction is not what I am paying for.

The work the BT chap did on the line from the house to the pole must have done the trick.  This work was done on Friday.  On Saturday, the line started syncing at 79997 again.

 

Anyway, all is well in the world again.

I may have spoken too soon...

 

Back to the disconnections:-

The big gap on the weekly graph is the BT chap sorting out the line to the pole.  Today, it's been up and down again.  Can someone do another check please?
