I'm trying to find out information about a major service outage in the Worksop area. We've had no service since 2pm yesterday and support have given us very little information as to what is wrong or when we may be reconnected, other than the next update is due at 9am tomorrow, so that is going to be over 36 hours at least. This is important as my wife is disabled and relies on the internet to communicate. Currently we are having to resort to mobile data which is costing us a fortune and we have been told there will be no chance of compensation as it is a MBORC.
Anyone know what is going on?

Thanks for that. At least it confirms the problem exists and possible resolution time even if it doesn't give any other info.

Hi there,
The location and expected fix time of an MSO is the extent of the information we're able to get.
It's very unusual for an MSO to not be fixed within that time so I hope you're able to get back online soon.

Not sure if it is related or not but there were quite a lot of BT openreach vans parked just of Victoria Square in Worksop at 9am this morning.

BT Business service status says this has been fixed in the last hour or so but we still don't have a connection despite restarting both modem and router. Has anyone in the area got theirs working yet?

My wife has contacted support and despite the overall problem having been fixed our line at least still has a problem. She was told it will be looked at within 72 hours! We've already been down over 2 days. I hate to think how long we will be without our connection.
