@Anonymous is static IP a free feature?

They charge a flat £5 charge to setup a static IP but I confirm, atleast in my instance, moving to a static IP has fixed the issue.

Netflix is working normally for me today. I had forgotten to turn my router off last night so either my IP has changed itself overnight or it's been fixed?

Ok. I’ll be testing that out tonight then.
Do you have anymore information about the fault? Why did it happen, how did they fix it? Is it likely to happen again?

Edit: a quick test shows fast.com at 330kbps (not even joking) and other speed test sites like google at 35mbps. So far, NOT fixed in my opinion.

Yup this has not been fixed. Just confirmed it on my smart TV.

....to top it off, you actually cannot get through to technical support at all. They are not accepting any calls. Absolutely brutal customer service. If this isn't fixed by tonight, I'm leaving for BT or Sky - and I've been with Plusnet for YEARS!

Jimbob1 - Netflix is, for some reason, being throttled on certain connections. Plusnet have acknowledged the issue here on the forum and said that they've fixed it. How they've fixed it for everyone here without taking individual details, I have no idea, but my connection just will not run Netflix at a reasonable quality despite having a download speed of almost 50 Mbps and every other video streaming service running absolutely fine.

Sigh.

After it working earlier on today, the problem has returned for me too. It is not fixed. 

This is now extremely annoying. I do not have Freeview and Netflix is my primary viewing.

Fast.com (powered by netflix) is running at 250 kbps

Speedtest is running at 33 mbps.

I have run out of patience. This needs to be sorting. Either by allowing us to move to a Static IP free of charge because their dynamic IPs are unusable for one of the most popular streaming services or by fixing it urgently.

Guys, @dvorak is only a moderator and not Plusnet's member of staff. This means Plusnet haven't even acknowledged the problem officially here. What's more, I messaged the staff members on here - usernames @BD and @Tibzor and they keep ignoring me. Appalling.
