Re: Random Reboot

Hi @adam945 Thanks for reply

Yes I get what you are saying I would prefer to conduct tests on my side first . My PlusNet router packed in a while back so I purchased a different router so I would like it if you was to send me a new router so I can do the tests on that just in case its the router I am currently using

Thanks for getting back to us @DOC1

Ah OK. No problem, I've sent you a new router free of charge now you should receive within the next 3 to 5 working days.

Let us know how it goes once you've got it.

Great stuff @DOC1 Smiley

See how the line performs over the next 72 hours or so and let us know if you're still having any problems.

Re: Random Reboot

Hello @DOC1

To be honest that error could mean anything, though I've run some checks on the line which do not appear to be showing any definitive issues at all since 27/06/2021. On our end, the connection appears to be stable for the last 5 days as well.

Monitor your connection over the next few days and let us know how you get on. If you haven't already, see if you can remove your face plate on the master socket, and connect your router directly into the test socket which lies behind it. Avoid turning your router on and off and see how the connection fairs. There's still an open fault Ticket on the account, so if the issue does not correct itself over the next few days, let us know and we'll raise it to Openreach.

Re: Random Reboot

Hi @adam945

Thanks for getting back to me. I will connect the router to the test socket now and see how it goes from there.

And I will let you know if I am still getting issues
