I have been with Plusnet fibre broadband since Dec 2016. During this time I have noticed that any slight fluctuations in the weather (rain, snow, wind) cause a loss of internet connection and the red light to be displayed on my router. I was never aware of the weather affecting my connection/router with my previous provider, so I would just like to know if this is normal and if there’s anything I can do to avoid this keep happening. It has been snowing sporadically all day today and the router has been displaying the red light nearly all day with little or no internet.

Hi there,
Although line tests aren't picking up anything obvious there could well be an issue with the line causing the disconnections.
I'd try following the checks here: https://goo.gl/tu2WWu just to make sure anything within the home has been ruled out and after that I'd report a fault over at http://faults.plus.net
