Thank you once again Richard.  I will follow up with the customer service guys.  I note from the Troubleshooting page on the Hub Manager that the Max Data Rate has dropped from 20439 on the 24 Jan to 11994 now (28 Jan).  Is that DLM in action then or a consequence of human intervention?

It could be either Openreach human intervention or DLM.
To find out PN would have to ask Openreach.

This problem has, I am afraid, not gone away, although I am now getting speeds of 11Mb/s.  Another Open reach intervention is on the horizon (Thursday) thanks to Customer Support again for their proactive approach.

As a separate issue, I will raise another thread, but I wonder if someone more knowledgeable/cleverer than I can help with interpretation of the Hub Manager troubleshooting page.
