Live streaming issue?

While trying stream a live event the video constantly disconnects, this seems to be because the download speed fluctuates quite a lot. I have ran a Think broadband quality monitor, but not sure what the results mean? Any help appreciated

Can you give a link to to the live stream or tell us which site its hosted on?

It happens when using Sky go and NOW TV

I think it's an issue with Sky.
I tried downloading a film earlier this evening from Sky On Demand...3.5 hrs later it's still downloading

Couple of simple questions if you don't mind.
Are you using a wired or a wireless connection to provide this stream?
Does the download speed falter when using anything else? Or is it just when you are providing the stream?

Even on FTTP 
It's an issue with Sky and Akamai that is fairly regular persistent now unfortunately. I've had the problem on and off for the last 6 months.

Matty, this happens when using wired and wireless, and i dont think its just when streaming. As even when trying to connect to a website the page sometimes takes a while to load

Yes will do, but it seems to be an almost constant issue, I can download ok. But looking at it today, the speed fluctuates every few minutes for full speed down to nothing and back up again
