Little confused on profiles - help from +net staff

According to BT my IP profile is 73Mbps
Download speedachieved during the test was - 68.05 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 58.69 Mbps-73.36 Mbps .
Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 73.36 Mbps
According to +net my current line speed is 71.4 - taken from member centre
Now according to my router I'm syncing at 75Mbps
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 75873 kbps 19105 kbps
Line Attenuation D0( 12.5) D1( 31.0) D2( 48.0) dB U0( 4.6) U1( 25.5) U2( 38.3) U3(N/A) U4(N/A) dB
Noise Margin D0( 6.3) D1( 6.3) D2( 6.3) dB U0( 6.0) U1( 6.0) U2( 6.0) U3(N/A) U4(N/A) dB
Which one is correct? If my line speed is a minimum of 71.4, why am I only seeing 68Mbps? Speedtest.net confirms that I am only seeing 68Mbps.

Any speedtest will come out a mb or two lower than the maximum possible speed.
I take it you were running the speeds over a cabled rather than a wireless connection?

Yes, wired.
I've been syncing at 75mbps for quite a while now, but my speeds never exceed 68, could it be the plusnet profile set at 71.4 that's capping me?
