Only thing i see is the SNR margin has dropped slightly, would that make any difference?
I would have thought my Interleave depth would have dropped, but it's still at 16.

Re: Line stats from HG612 Modem

Those are pretty healthy stats, you must be fairly close to the cabinet.
The small change might be due to syncing at a different time of day, even with a really good line like yours there will be some 'noise' at times seen by the modem.

What is the best time of day to sync (reboot) modem? to get best line stats.

Re: Line stats from HG612 Modem

Many say around lunchtime is a good time (or at least during the daytime).
Your line stats look really good. You are right at the top end of sync speed so you are doing very well. You must be close to the cabinet. Look at your attainable speed (109 Mbits down and 40 Mbits up). Once the faster products are available, you will be able to make full use of them. Very lucky.

Never. You're not going to get anything better than your current stats on the currently available fibre products.

Re: Line stats from HG612 Modem

The time of day can have an effect on your sync speed. Whilst it is not recommended to reboot your modem, if you have to, the time of reboot can have an effect on your sync speed. Generally, signal to noise ratios are lower in the evening, which is why most people recommend modem reboots during the day.

Re: Line stats from HG612 Modem

Your stats are very very good but the attainable rate will drop pretty soon if your is just activated FTTC. I remember mine (attainable rate was 135 Meg down and 42 Meg up when my FTTC was first activated last year Feb 2014 but it now reduced to 103 Meg down and 35 Meg up as the SNR reduced as well as it probably down to cabinet start to fill up with crosstalk)
But, Your and mine are much closer to the cabinet are likely to stay with max sync rate for a long while! Smiley
Here is my stats below:

Re: Line stats from HG612 Modem

@goldenfibre
I'm not new, i've been on FTTC for just over 2 years now with plusnet, so i guess my attainable rate will stay as is, unless it starts to fill up anymore.

Re: Line stats from HG612 Modem

@ darklight u are very lucky! Sound like no ones order FTTC at your cabinet so far since for 2 years. (Maybe there more peoples using virgin media cable in your area?)

Re: Line stats from HG612 Modem

@goldenfibre Yes there is a virgin cabinet straight across my road, when i scan for wifi in my house i see 3 VM and sky wifi signals on my phone, not many others, so i could be very lucky.
