I have had fibre for over a year now but just lately my speed has dropped from a pretty steady 24 mbps to 14mbps. Nothing has changed at my end and it's beginning to drive me bonkers!

I had exactly that, I logged a fault a engineer came out spent 45 minutes checking my line.
He found no obvious fault but clearly did something as immediatly my speed went from 13 to 18, further " tweaking" by PNet and I have been running at a steady 30 for months now.

Your line is in sync at 23Mbs, so I'd expect a bit more on speedtests than 14Mbps. Testing your broadband is saying that there's a potential phone fault, however testing your phoneline itself shows no fault.
