Line check

Hi there,

Can I get a line check please. I've been getting daily disconnects recently it seems (again), resulting in slow sync rate drop everyday.. just wondering if all is well?

Re: Line check

Thanks for getting in touch @santi I'm sorry for the issues you've had. I've tested your line today the tests aren't showing any issues with the broadband signal going into your router, that's getting a good speed of 58mbps and no drops for 2 days.

If you aren't seeing this speed, I'd recommend raising a speed fault online at faults.plus.net. It's worth noting that together with our network partners at Openreach we are prioritising customers who don’t have a phone line or broadband connection, meaning there might be a delay in speed faults being fixed.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: Line check

Thanks for checking

But something is definitely not right.. once again my sync speeds dropped now to a shocking 47meg...

Something is definitely not right here.. as you can imagine this intermittent issue is very annoying, as probably by the time you go to check the line it'll stabilise.. and then flare up again after. My sync speeds were at a solid 70+, then dropped to 60, and now 47.. so something doesn't sound right

Connection type:Fibre Broadband (VDSL)
Downstream sync speed:47.28 Mbps
Upstream sync speed:11.90 Mbps
Network uptime:0 Days, 3 Hours 5 Minutes

Re: Line check

I’m having a similar problem. Usually I’m around 77/15 sync but today I’m getting 56/12. Router reboot doesn’t help. Something is not right in the network. Are there overriding BT issues? These problems usually go away after a few hours, tops a day.
