Are there any staff members about who could post the full GEA test results from my line please ?
Test was carried out under Question #202000383 but the case was closed minutes after basic down/upload results were posted, leaving no chance to respond.
Thanks in advance
John

Thanks very much for that Matthew.
The 'Profile' on this information is definitely up to date at 0.128M - 80M Downstream ?
The BT Wholesale test I performed today was still showing the Downstream Profile to be limited to 50Mbps even though the Upstream has been increased to 20 Mbps :
Basic Performance Test -
Time Stamp |
Latency |
Download |
Upload |
Sunday 7 June 2020 | 15:41:34 |
24 Ms |
45.46 Mbps |
18.45 Mbps |
Advanced Performance Test -
Download Test |
Download speed achieved during the test was 45.46 Mbps |
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 40 - 49.51 Mbps |
Your DSL Connection Rate: 0 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM),0 Mbps(UP-STREAM) |
For your connection, the maximum achievable download speed is 49.51 Mbps |
Profile for your line is 49.51 Mbps |
Upload Test |
Upload speed achieved during the test was 18.45 Mbps |
For your connection, the maximum achievable upload speed is 20 Mbps |
Profile for your line is 20 Mbps |
Assuming I'm reading this correctly ?
I've never actually achieved over 50Mbps download (wired at the master socket). Just wanted to double check the line wasn't still 'limited' as current speed is right at the bottom of speed estimates for the line.
Many thanks
John

Your Profile in the GEA test is not up to date if you take a look at the date stamp for it you will see it's dated 25th May, the profile in a GEA test is never up to date it's always 1-2 weeks behind so do not go by that.

Thanks for the input. Yes I'd seen the date of the GEA.
I suppose the question should really be why todays BT Wholesale test is showing a profile of 50/20 (download/upload) when it should have changed from 50/10 to 80/20 on 13th May ?
