Line OK?

Hi,

Ive been with plusnet since 5th of April, was originally syncing at 48598 Kbps, then 45241 for a while and today it's resynced to 44075. Just wanted to check if there is a problem that is making my connection gradually slow down.

Here's my stats:

Re: Line OK?

By the look of your stats you're on a Huawei cabinet which has G.INP on. What modem/router are you using?

Re: Line OK?

What firmware are you running? And is there a setting anywhere to enable G.INP?

Re: Line OK?

V1.0.0.32_1.0.1

There's no option to turn on G.INP. I thought that was set at the cabinet?? When I was with BT before moving to Plusnet it showed G.INP to be on, but now with Plusnet its off.

Re: Line OK?

Yes at the cabinet its always enabled but on some modems/routers like the ASUS DSL 68U theres options for G.INP and Vectoring etc... What was your speed like with BT before? G.INP only enables it on your line if it thinks it needs to be.

Re: Line OK?

Sync speed had gone down 18 mbps with BT as the Homehub 5 had been resyncing itself several times a day. Replaced with the D7000 and it was rock solid at 38 mbps.

Re: Line OK?

So is everything ok? I'm just a bit concerned that it seems to be resynching every 2 or 3 days.

Re: Line OK?

if it keeps re-syncing try a pin factory reset of the modem
