Do you mind checking again? Looks like your profile needed updating.

Re: Just upgraded from ADSL to FTTC - and speeds have gone down!

HI, Sorry to hear of the issues with your speed.

Once you have completed the intial speed test and further diagnostics and your presented with the option to continue to carry out further testing please do so. This will ask you to change the login details on your router to use BT test logins.

Doing this will by pass any connection profiles we have in place and test the connection speed directly on the BT wholesale network. This is very helpful for us when testing the fault because we can pin point if the issue with something on our side of the network or if the issue is on the Wholesale network.

If it fails on the wholesale test let us know and we can get it reported.

@NicholasA

Did you restart your router before doing your second test? If Plusnet needed to reset it, the router might not have picked up the new profile without.

Re: Just upgraded from ADSL to FTTC - and speeds have gone down!

Oh yes!

Speed somewhat faster this morning - but need to go through the full suite of tests - and I need to find a quiet time to deal with that (when the rest of the household won't object to the wifi and the domestic phone lines being disconnected whilst I run the tests).
