Joining PN fibre, modem already present

There is already a openreach fibre modem present in the house from the previous owners and I do have a PPPoE capable router available that I can use together with the modem.
Also the bt mastersocket is already completely ready for the connection.
Would this help to get the broadband set up even faster?  Smiley (one can always hope/try!!)
I can imaging that there is no need for an engineer in this case, but I'm not sure what your procedures are...
Thanks in advance!

Re: Joining PN fibre, modem already present

it won't make the process any faster, but it does mean you won't need an OR engineer to visit your premises.

Thanks chenks76!
I thought this would be the case, but as I said, one can always hope! I guess I'll just have to be patient.... Cheesy
