Internet “not connected”, drop outs, flashing lights on router

Hi, I am having loss of connection issues for hours at a time on a daily basis. I would say that the service is down at least 50% of the time. I’ve tried running the usual connection diagnostics and resetting but it just says that I don’t have a connection. I’ve had the same router and BT Open Reach box for around 5 years. Please can you check it out and resolve?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to see you're experiencing connection problems.

Our tests are showing a fault somewhere along the line, so I've reported this through to Openreach for further investigation now and we've been provided an estimated response time of by 16/07/19 23:59:59 for an engineer to go out and investigate further. Let us know how it goes over the course of the next few days.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
