Internet keeps dropping out, and speed extremely slow

For the last three days, we've had issues with the internet cutting out and very low speeds. My last test was 0.26mb with 1.24mb upload.

We pay for Unlimited Fibre Extra and have followed all guidance available online - resetting router, splitting to 2.4/5ghz and changing channels - but it's only got worse. The speed is impossible to function with at the moment and we have two adults who need to WFH in this situation.

When trying to get through on the plusnet phone line, after waiting in a queue for 30 mins someone picked up and then hung up the phone without answering me or introducing themselves. When I try to get through now, it just keeps cutting off.

This is very frustrating as this is an essential service, particularly in these times and one that I pay a premium for - as I pay for the maximum package available in the area - being on 1/50th of the promised speed is insane (I could barely get onto the forum)!

Some assistance would be greatly appreciated.
